Two NYPD Officers Shot in the Bronx

Two New York Police officers were shot Monday evening in the Bronx, according to officials.

The 121st Precinct confirmed the news on Twitter and asked people to pray for the officers.

One officer was said to have been shot in the back, and the other was reportedly hit in the arm.

It was not immediately known who the shooter was or if there were multiple shooters.

The officers were reportedly responding to a robbery call.

Both officers were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover. This shooting happened two weeks after two officers were shot and killed in Brooklyn.
