Three community mailboxes in one Rocklin neighborhood - big, metal, solid - designed for security, but three of them pried open this weekend.
"As I drove up, I normally stop here everyday to get my mail," said Rocklin resident Todd Coombes. "I noticed there was something bent."
Todd Coombes lives in this neighborhood where the boxes were broken. But Rocklin Police say this is a crime they are seeing more and more, one lieutenant estimates once or twice a month.
Rocklin Police and the US Postal Service are investigating. And USPS replaced the damage boxes right away, but marks of the vandalism still remain. As does the worry over what the vandal or vandals might be after.
