2 Officers Shot near Ferguson Police Department

FERGUSON, Missouri-

Two police officers were reportedly shot late Wednesday night near the Ferguson Police Department, according to local media reports.

It was not immediately clear if the two officers belonged to Ferguson PD or an outside agency.

On Thursday morning, our sister station KTVI in St. Louis reported a 32-year-old Webster Groves police officer was shot in the face.

It’s also reported the second officer is a 41-year-old veteran of the St. Louis County Police Department, and was shot in the shoulder.

They are both expected to survive.
