Authorities are on scene after a fire claims the lives of two people at a Nevada City Home.

Two people have passed away after a fire swept through a home on Country Circle.

According to Cal Fire, the call came in just after 4 a.m.

Upon their arrival, the two people inside the home were already deceased.

The cause of the fire, or the two deaths, was not immediately clear.

The extend of the damage of the home is unknown at this time.

Rollover Accident in North Highlands

According to CHP, one woman is injured after a Chevy Tahoe and a Nissan sedan collided on Elkhorn Boulevard and Sprig Drive just before 6 a.m.

Officers say the Tahoe rolled over and flipped upside down. The woman inside that vehicle was injured and transported to the hospital.

The condition of the other party involved is unknown at this time.

Samantha Green Back in Court

The mother accused of murdering her 3-week-old baby is getting ready to face the judge this morning in Yolo County.

Green is facing murder and child endangerment charges  for the death of her son, Justice Rees, who was found dead in the Ridge Cut slough near Knight’s Landing last month.

Last week, Green pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter and child endangerment charges. However, the District Attorney filed a motion to charge Green with murder.

The document claims Green unlawfully and willfully killed with malice.
