Garth Brooks, one of the best-selling music artists of all time, will take the Sleep Train Arena stage tonight.
84,000 people bought tickets for the six-show run, which is the first California stop in Brooks' world tour.
Brooks is being joined on the tour with Trisha Yearwood, who is also his wife.
Brooks last played in Sacramento almost 18 years ago.
Saturdays shows are set to begin at 7 and 10:30 p.m. Additional shows will be held on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
