Sacramento firefighters were fighting a house fire in North Sacramento on Saturday afternoon, at the home of a bed ridden person.

The first arriving firefighters reported the fire in a two story home, at around 3 p.m.

Crews figured out it was an attic fire, then laddered up to get to the roof and attack the fire from above.

There was one person that firefighters pulled from the home, and the Sacramento Fire Department says the person was bed ridden.

Sacramento Fire reported a knockdown of the fire around 3:30 p.m., and nobody was injured in the fire.

Over twenty firefighters fought the blaze, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
