Yuba County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man suspected of drugging and raping a woman over the course of four days after he lured her with the promise of a free tattoo.

Investigators say Jason Lee Brakebill, 35, met the woman on Facebook and offered to tattoo her for free. They arranged to meet on March 23, according to detectives.

In a news release from the Sheriff’s Department, investigators say Brakebill gave the woman meth and Klonopin at his Smartsville home. Over the course of four days, deputies say Brakebill held the woman captive and sexually assaulted her.

The 21-year-old woman was able to get help once Brakebill passed out, according to investigators.

Brakebill was booked into Yuba County Jail on charges of rape, false imprisonment, oral copulation and sexual penetration against the victim’s will.
