The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office has identified a young man believed to be responsible for a bank robbery in Cameron Park.

According to detectives, 19-year-old Mark Spier robbed the El Dorado Savings Bank around 1 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators described Spier as a man standing between 5-feet-7-inches and 5-feet-10-inches tall, with short, brown hair and brown eyes. Spier is said to be clean-shaven with facial acne.

Spier is usually seen around the Cameron Park area, deputies said. Anyone with information about Spier is asked to contact El Dorado County dispatch at (530) 621-6600.
