Vandalism in a Rocklin Park Leads to Costly Damage

Over $1000 in damage from vandalism was done this morning to Boulder Ridge Park in Rocklin.

The Rocklin Police Department responded to a vandalism report at 7:34 a.m. When officers arrived, they discovered that at least 13 trees in the park had either their trunks bent, broken or had broken branches.

A City of Rocklin public works crew was notified and responded to save as many trees as possible.

The vandalism appears to have occurred overnight and the case is still under investigation.
