VIDEO: Fire Crews Busy Saturday Night, Blaze Damages Modesto Home

A Modesto house was destroyed in a fire last night on Springfield Way.

When firefighters arrived to the home, the roof and the garage were engulfed in flames, and a second and third home were threatened.

Fire crews were able to get the the blaze contained before any other homes were destroyed. The house was severely damaged, and early damage estimate is $275,000.

The homeowners were not at home at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.

Fire crews were battling two other house fires in Modesto and Ceres, along with vegetation fires throughout Modesto and Stanislaus County.
