Five Dead Inside Modesto Home, Suspect Arrested

The Modesto Police Department says that five people were found dead inside a Modesto home on the 2600 block of Nob Hill Court.

The person of interest in the homicides, 30-year-old Martin Martinez,  was arrested early Sunday morning in San Jose and has been booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.

FOX40's Doug Johnson reports that three children and two adults were found dead in the home. Detectives have stated that all of the victims were related and were all females. The the three children who were killed ranged in ages of 6 months to 6 years old.

The suspect has had a past relationship with one of the victims and is the biological father of one of the deceased children.

Detectives ask anyone who may have witnessed the red Lincoln Navigator traveling to San Jose last night to call Stanislaus Area Crime Stoppers at (209) 521-4636.
