Many youths that end up in detention facilities have limited opportunities when it comes to swimming. The Sacramento County Youth Detention Facility has expanded its program this summer to include swim and water safety instructions. The goal is to increase the number of swimmers in minority participants who suffer from the greatest swim ability disparities. Mae gets the details from Carol Paris.
