Fallen Tree Limb Kills 2 Minors In Yosemite National Park

YOSEMITE —

Two minors were sleeping in a tent when they were killed by a fallen tree limb Friday morning.

Around 5 a.m., a limb from an oak tree fell in the Upper Pines Campground in Yosemite Valley striking the tent.

Park rangers responded to give medical assistance but both minors were pronounced dead.

The names, ages and place of residence of the two victims is not being released. The incident is still being investigated.
