PLACER COUNTY —

Thanks to an anonymous donor, Placer County residents have the opportunity to take upper-division Sacramento State classes through a scholarship offer.

The partnership is between Sierra College and Sac State. This fall residents will be able to attend one of five courses via a scholarship pool of $50,000.

Students can choose from three different business classes, a pop culture class and a multicultural class. The classes will either be in the evenings or on Saturdays.

The deadline for registration is August 21.

The scholarships are not determined by a need-basis.

Fore more information students can call the Sacramento State College of Continuing Education at (916) 278-6984 or visit the website.
