Police Arrest 5 Suspects In Ripon Shoplifting Ring

RIPON —

Ripon Police have arrested 5 suspects connected to a shoplifting ring.

The suspects include: Deanna Nancydel Bank, 21, Julian Alberto Hertier, 26, Sean Lamont Mitchell Jr., 23, Joy Anika Sloan, 29, Larry Donnel Williams II, 27. All five suspects are from the Bay Area.

On August 8 at 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a CVS drug store on Main Street for a shoplifting in progress involving multiple people.

Within minutes the suspect’s were caught in a vehicle. The car had over 200 stolen items inside including: alcohol, gift cards, clothes, perfume, toiletries, jewelry and makeup.

The estimated total value was placed at over $3000.

The five suspects were booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on shoplifting, conspiracy and receiving known stolen property charges.
