ROSEVILLE —

Roseville police detectives have arrested a 16-year-old male in connection to threats of violence made against Roseville High School on social media.

The former Roseville High School student is suspected of setting up an Instagram account called “Coming4uRHS” and disseminating it in order to spread panic and fear at the high school, police said.

A picture was posted to the Instagram account Monday evening that showed several guns with the caption: “Which one should I use?? #RHS.”

The Instagram account has been deleted.

Roseville police said Tuesday morning that investigators did not find any evidence of a credible threat to the school.

The identity of the teen has not been released. He was taken to Placer County Juvenile Hall.
