1 Killed, 2 Injured in Overnight Shooting Outside Stockton Bar

STOCKTON —

A shooting outside of a Stockton bar killed one man and left two others injured early Sunday morning, according to the Stockton Police Department.

After responding to reports of a person shot outside of Fat’s Bar and Grill in the 4500 block of North Pershing Avenue, officers found a victim, 26-year-old Cedric Purify shot. When medics arrived, they pronounced Purify dead at the scene.

According to Stockton PD, two others — a 26-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman — were shot and treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

There is no reported motive or suspect information at this time. Stockton PD is asking anyone with information regarding this shooting call (209) 946-0600.
