A Sacramento Walmart surprised a group of kids with a free Halloween experience Wednesday.

The children, from the local charity Shoulder to Shoulder, showed up tot the Truxel Road store to shop for costumes.

The store surprised them with a day full of Halloween fun including free costumes and a chance to trick-or-treat inside the store.

Raquel Brown has two sons  in Shoulder to Shoulder.

"Having this opportunity to come here and kick off Halloween and be able to have the program, take that time to spend with the boys to figure out what they would like to be for Halloween. It just means a lot because it means a lot to the kids, you know. So that's really what it's about," Brown said.
