Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton will be making a fundraising stop Wednesday afternoon in Sacramento.

The fundraiser will be hosted by former Ambassador Eleni Kounalakis at an Arden-Arcade-area home. Clinton's visit couldn't have perfect timing for California Strategies partner Rusty Areias and his daughter, Alexis.

"I just think that she's such a great candidate," Alexis, who celebrates her 16th birthday Wednesday. "She is, in my opinion, the best qualified. She has four years as secretary of state."

Rusty Areias is one of the co-hosts of Wednesday's event.

They both know, despite leading the polls in the democratic field, Clinton isn't without challenges.

"(Republican candidate) Carly Fiorina is definitely someone who I think should not just be brushed aside, but I think if it honestly comes up to Hillary against any of those candidates, I think that she will rise to the occasion," Alexis said.

The fundraiser is rumored to be a $2,700-per-plate lunch.

During Clinton's last visit to the home, a protester's fake coffin prompted the Secret Service to call the bomb squad. Security is expected to be much tighter Wednesday.
