Bear Creek, McNair Varsity Football Game Cancelled Following School Vandalism

The varsity football game between Bear Creek and McNair high schools has been cancelled after students were arrested for vandalism.

According to Bear Creek Principal Bill Atterberry, four Bear Creek students vandalized McNair’s campus with spray paint. Stockton Police also confirmed the students’ arrests.

Stockton Police spokesperson Joe Silva told FOX40 that the damage to the McNair campus is said to be thousands of dollars.

It was the final regular season game for both teams. McNair ends its season with a 8-2 record and Bear Creek ends with 2-8 record. The junior varsity game was also cancelled.
