Police: Man Arrested After Allegedly Kicking, Shattering Bus Door

A rider allegedly got angry and kicked in a bus door on Thursday night, causing about $1,500 worth of damage, police said.

The Vacaville Police Department says William Savage, of Sacramento, was riding on a Solano Express Bus when he allegedly became angry with the driver over a transfer issue.

Savage exited the bus and allegedly turned around and kicked the closed door, breaking the glass and causing about $1,500 worth of damage, police said.

Police say Savage tried to flee the area on foot but was found by officers a short distance away.

He was arrested on charges of felony vandalism. Police also say Savage had methamphetamine and a meth pipe in his possession. He also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
