TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Flags at all state buildings in New Jersey will be lowered to half-staff on Tuesday to honor those killed and wounded in last week’s shooting in California.

Gov. Chris Christie signed the executive order Monday.

Christie said he wanted to recognize the victims of Wednesday’s shooting in San Bernardino, which left 14 people dead and 21 wounded.

Christie called the shooting a “coordinated attack constitutes the deadliest act of terrorism committed on American soil” since Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
