The video depicted a person pointing a handgun at a Sacramento Police Department vehicle that was occupied by an employee, police said. A man’s voice was heard using derogatory language while speaking about police.

Investigators believe that 20-year-old Marco Romero was the person responsible for making and posting the video. Investigators served a search warrant at Romero’s home, which led to the discovery of weapons, including the one believed to have been used in the video, police said.

Romero was booked into the Sacramento County Jail on Wednesday on suspicion of having a concealed, unregistered firearm in a vehicle along with participating in a criminal street gang, police said.

The Sacramento Police Department said they continue to utilize social media as a public safety tool.
