A city auditor’s review has found that several Sacramento employees have been double-dipping – collecting their city checks as well as pay for being vendors for the city.

The auditor revealed the findings which included time card fraud and concern over improper use of city I.T. as he made recommendations for stricter evaluation of vendor lists.

The employees in question were paid almost $34,000 as vendors.

Council members approved the auditor’s recommendations for tighter vendor controls.
