Trees Fall as Rain Pounds Valley

SACRAMENTO–

Tuesday’s wet weather caused several trees to fall around the Sacramento region.

One tree was at the Capitol Towers apartments in downtown Sacramento, near 5th and P streets.

Another one was in Winters, near Winters High School.

The tree fell across Grant Avenue near Hemenway Street. Police urged drivers to take Railroad Avenue to Third Street as a detour.
