Deputies in Tuolumne County responded to a call Sunday in Groveland, where a man had been reportedly shooting at his girlfriend’s home.

Investigators say 22-year-old Todd Everett Anderson showed up to the house intoxicated and started fighting with his girlfriend’s family. Moments after, he rammed his truck into the house and fled the scene with his girlfriend inside the car.

Deputies said Anderson later drove back to the home, firing several rounds at it. No one was inside and no one was injured.

Authorities located Anderson a short time after in his home and found a stolen handgun. He was booked into jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an inhabited dwelling and possession of stolen property.
