Two Dead after Car Hits Building in Vallejo

Two women died after a car struck a business Sunday in Vallejo.

At around 3:17 p.m. Vallejo police responded to a vehicle collision on Sacramento Street, where they found two women critically injured inside a 1998 Toyota Camry.

The Camry appeared to be traveling south when it struck a business.

Officer says the unidentified passenger died at the scene from her injures, while the driver later died at the hospital.

Police are still working to identify the passenger and the name of the driver is being withheld until next of kin is notified. Drugs and alcohol did not appear to be related.
