In today's Family Matters, Mae is learning all about girls and engineering with Monica Wolf from a local Sylvan Learning Center. "According to the most recent report from the American Society for Engineering Education, women represent less than 25% of Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees in engineering. And studies from Engineer Your Life and Changing the Conversation have found that young girls don't have the proper understanding of the engineering field, causing them to shy away from a dominant and lucrative industry in the United States."
