Gary and Bethany are in East Sacramento learning some history and checking out some of the neighborhood's hot spots.

Bethany is out checking out the Fabulous Forties with historian Dave Edwards. The homes in this area are very unique and special to the East Sacramento area. The developers had very specific standards for the homes and lots -- including making sure a sycamore tree was planted in the front of every home. Bethany also gets a few details on the former house of Ronald and Nancy Reagan on 45th Street.

Gary is at the 57th Street Antique Mall in East Sacramento digging into some goodies at Evan's Kitchen. Chef Evan Elsberry gives Gary a look at their best selling breakfast foods.

Bethany is at Limelight getting a look at the big St. Patrick's Day event they'll be holding on Saturday, March 12 at noon. There will be three Irish bands, dancers and food. Limelight is also a part of East Sac history, it was once the Alhambra Cafe right across from what was the old Alhambra Theatre.

Gary is out at The Lighting Palace checking out some antique lamps, fixtures and chandeliers with owner Thomas Allie.

Gary is hanging out with owners, Michael Allgood and Gregory Campell, of Mike and Greg's. Their store has everything from antique glassware to vintage furniture and jewelry.
