Just in the first week of April this knitting team will be donating at least 465 caps to newborns and cancer patients this will bring their total to 1,651 caps since the group started last year.

The White Rock Village (WRV) knitting team recently donated 50 newborn knitted caps to El Dorado Community Health Centers. The Health Centers are hoping to give away 200 baskets to families with newborns this year. The welcome to the world baskets will contain a book on infant care, caps, blankets, diapers and information.

The knitting team meets on Wednesdays and Fridays at WRV at 10:30 a.m. and is looking for more volunteers and more donations of yarn and fleece to make more caps and blankets.
