The Los Rios Police Department is investigating two sexual battery cases that happened Friday on campus at Cosumnes River College.

The first incident happened around 7:20 a.m.

One female student reported that as she entered a lobby a subject followed closely behind her and slid his hand up her thigh and buttocks.

When she stepped away and walked up the stairs towards her classroom, he followed her.

After she reported the incident in her classroom LRPD officers arrived but had no results in the search for the suspect.

The second report is believed to have happened around the same time in the Technology building.

The male suspect followed another female into her class and sat next to her. He then proceeded to reach over and brush his hand along her bare midsection above her hip.

The suspect left the room right after.

The student didn’t report the incident until around 10 a.m. when she received the crime report from the first case and realized the suspect’s descriptions seemed to match.

The man is described as a dark complexion African American with his age being somewhere between his late 20s to late 30s.

He was about 6 feet tall with black braided hair covered by a dark colored cap/head wrap. He was last seen wearing a heavy black jacket and black pants.
