Turlock Police Department Reports Uptick in Broken Vehicle Windows

More vehicles are having their windows smashed out, according to the Turlock Police Department.

Police say there has been an upswing in the number of people reporting broken rear windows on cars in the past week. Two businesses have also had their windows broken.

Police say the crimes usually happen overnight on the east side of Turlock.

One witness reported the damage was possibly done with a BB gun.

The Turlock Police Department is asking for the public’s help. Anyone with information is asked to call the tip line at (209) 668-5550 ext. 6780.
