Guests Dr. Michelle Stevens, Sacramento State Environmental Studies Professor/Water and Fire Climate Conference Coordinator, and Dr. Sweta Chakraborty/Associate Director of ISGP are in the studio with Bethany and Darren discussing their upcoming conference and the purpose.

Water and Fire: Impacts of Climate Change will take place on Sunday, April 10, and Monday, April 11, at the University Union Ballroom. Scientists, policymakers, community leaders, academics, and students will meet to produce lively debates, as well as potential solutions and policy changes dealing with climate change.

The event is free and open to the public and important to anyone concerned about drought, floods, wildfires, and declining fish populations in the Sacramento region, brought on by climate change.
