RANCHO CORDOVA --

Just like a 911 dispatch operator, Cory Freeland has been fielding a lot of her own phone calls lately about her up and coming business.

Thin Line Brewing Company is just starting to take shape, but already has a lot of folks ready to raise their glass to those who put their lives on the line every day.

"That whole other world the average person doesn't even know about," explained Freeland. "I have so much love for first responders and law enforcement and respecting their work."

As the craft beer scene continues to explode in our region, Freeland plans to bring together her love and respect for first responders and her background in business and restaurant service.

"Kind of meshing the two to support that. To find a way to honor and support that way," she said.

Freeland admits she has many in her circle, including family and her boyfriend, who are first responders, and she hopes to create a place that everyone can enjoy. But she just doesn't have the location yet.

"You have to have an address, so that's the jumping point," she said.

The future Rancho Cordova business does, however, have a website and a Facebook page. Thin Line Brewing would join three other craft brewery's already in the city.

It's set to open by the spring of 2017.
