DAVIS--

Another day, another demonstration at UC Davis.

Wednesday's on-campus protest aired Chancellor Katehi's "dirty laundry."

Demonstrators strung accusations and photos on a clothesline across the quad.

"There are a lot of rumors going around. A lot of people think she might have just left without telling anybody," said UC Davis Student Ali Soeimani.

Katehi was not on campus Wednesday, access to her office in Mrak Hall remained blocked and no one answered the door at the chancellor's Davis residence.

Frustrated students continued to demand Katehi resign.

The outrage stems from the chancellor's decision to accept high paying roles outside the university and to spend big money to try and improve the university's public image.

Saturday the chancellor posted a video to her YouTube channel announcing a campus forum Thursday, where students could ask her anything.

"Any question would be a great question, there will be nothing off bounds," said Chancellor Katehi in the video.

Tuesday night organizers abruptly called off the event with no explanation.

Soon after, a letter to Janet Napolitano was leaked.

It said the University of California President has asked Katehi to resign and requests she reconsider that decision.

UC Davis spokesperson Dana Topousis insists the chancellor is still on the job.

"She's still the chancellor, and she's still doing her job. They might not see her walking around today but they might," Topousis said.

In a campus email Wednesday, Katehi insisted she's "100 percent committed to serving as Chancellor of UC Davis."

But at this point it seems no amount of commitment will change these students' minds.

"I don't know why she's been here so long if she's been allowed to do this," said UC Davis Freshman Jailene Trigueros.

FOX40 reached out to the UC System for comment and did not get a response.
