The recall includes the TwinGo Original carriers designed to hold one or two babies against someone's body at their waist, the agency said. The waist buckles on those carriers can break, potentially allowing those babies to tumble out of the carrier.
The carrier is intended for babies who weigh 10 to 45 pounds. It retails for $215 and has been sold online from December 2014 until this month.
Batch numbers included in the recall are 23014024003, 01515026003, and 21615019001.
The company received 13 reports of the buckles breaking worldwide, including 10 in the U.S. No injuries have been reported, the company said.
Anyone who has a recalled carrier should stop using them and contact TwinGo for a free repair kit. The company can be reached at 888-288-9342, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or online at TwinGoCarrier.com.
