FOX40 is introducing a new segment, "One-Tank Trip". We will be sharing getaway spots that you can visit without traveling too far out of the area.

This week Paul is taking you to Guerneville, CA -- about a 117 mile drive from the heart of Sacramento. The small town and surrounding area packs a lot of attractions.

Johnson's Beach -- "Johnson's Beach is the main beach that is right downtown Guerneville. Parking and access is free. Take Church Street towards the river to get to the parking lot. During the summer there is a concession stand and you can rent boats."

Armstrong Redwood State Park -- "This spectacular redwood forest offers something for everyone. Casual strolls, long hikes, horseback riding, fishing, car or backpack camping, picnicking, biking and more. Armstrong Redwoods is five minutes from downtown Guerneville at the end of Armstrong Woods Road."

Korbel Champagne Cellars -- "The Korbel story is more than a chapter in Sonoma County history. It is the saga of two enterprising families with pioneer spirits and old-world resourcefulness who envisioned the great opportunities emerging from the development of 19th-century America. Although generations apart, the Korbel and Heck families created and preserved a singular tradition of champagne-making excellence that has now been in existence for over 132 years."

Flavors Unlimited Custom Blended Ice Cream -- At this local spot you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and most importantly ICE CREAM!
