Police Looking for Witnesses After Woman Fatally Hit by Car in Modesto

MODESTO — A 67-year-old woman was hit and killed by a car in Modesto on Saturday night, police said.

The vehicle versus pedestrian crash happened about 8:45 p.m. on Tully Road, north of Standiford Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a woman with fatal injuries in the roadway.

The 67-year-old woman was crossing Tully Road when she was hit by a 37-year-old driving a Toyota Camry northbound on Tully Road.

Police are still investigating what led up to the crash. Police say the driver showed no signs of drug or alcohol impairment.

Police continue to investigate, and they are looking for witnesses.
