MIDTOWN SACRAMENTO -- Fourth of July weekend is a busy time packed with celebrations, but for the loved ones of Will Murti, that weekend started what's now been a month of pain because of his loss.

Murti was partying at Benny's and the Old Tavern in Sacramento and was shot to death outside near the corner of 20th and P streets.

Since the killing, no suspects have been identified who could be responsible for what happened to the 36-year-old -- a man who'd just gotten his life back on track with jobs in concrete and construction helping to build the new Golden 1 Center.

His family is asking anyone who may have taken selfies or other pictures in the area to come forward.

There may be a clue to his murder in the background of your memories.

"We have no leads, but this is a big family that loved Will, and we just want justice to be served and someone to be held accountable," said his aunt Lucy Morales.

If you know anything about this crime, Sacramento police want to hear from you.

You can give your tip anonymously and a $1,000 reward is being offered for information that helps solve Murti's murder.
