In today's Tech Report, Rich Demuro is introducing us to Cozmo, a real life toy robot with a personality of its own. He knows your name and face and even has emotions and plays games. The more you interact with him, the smarter he gets.

"Cozmo doesn’t just move; he gets curious and explores. He doesn’t just learn; he plots and plans. He doesn’t just see you, he gets to know you. So call him self-aware, call him almost human. Just don’t call him a toy. He's a supercomputer on treads. And he's fun on a whole new level."

Humans have been fascinated with the idea of robots for decades but so far, there hasn't been a breakout star.

Company co-founder Boris Sofman says the toy combines his love of robotics with artificial intelligence. Those interested can pre-order Cozmo HERE for about $160.
