LAKE TAHOE -- A fire broke out on the popular Tahoe Queen boat in Lake Tahoe at about 8:20 a.m. Tuesday.

The boat was docked for repairs when the fire broke out. Tahoe Fire says two workers were injured. One man suffered from smoke inhalation and another apparently sprained his back trying to jump to safety.

The paddle wheeler hosts dinners and sightseeing cruises on the lake, but only contractors were on board when the fire began.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
