Evacuations Lifted for Wildfire Burning Near Upper Lake

LAKE COUNTY — A 20-acre wildfire burning near Upper Lake on Tuesday evening forced residents to evacuate.

The Mockingbird Fire was burning off Highway 29 and Mockingbird Lane.

Residents in the area of Old Robinson Rancheria were asked to evacuate immediately. Those evacuations have since been lifted, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

Cal Fire says forward movement of the fire has been stopped.
