600-Acre Wildfire in Butte County Prompts Evacuations

BUTTE COUNTY — A 600-acre wildfire burning in Butte County has forced evacuations.

The so-called Saddle Fire is burning off Pentz Road and Lime Saddle Road, about five miles south of Paradise.

Evacuations have been ordered for both sides of Pentz Road between Logo Vista and Missilla Valley, according to Cal Fire.
