‘Suspicious Package’ Closes L Street in Front of State Capitol

SACRAMENTO — A “suspicious package” found late Thursday morning briefly closed L Street west of 13th Street in front of the State Capitol.

A shelter in place order was issued for the L Street side of the Capitol building.

13th Street was also briefly closed between K and L.
