FedEx Shows Off New Tracy Hub

TRACY — At around 660,000-square-feet the newest FedEx hub and or the California sits off of Hood Road in Tracy.

Officials in the media came together Friday morning as the company gave tours of the facility that FedEx says can process 22,500 packages per hour and currently has approximately 470 employees.

Previously, the Northern California location was in Sacramento however now with the new Tracy site deliveries to the Bay Area will be more efficient and easier.

“The investment in a building like this shows our dedication. It’s really exciting to be in Tracy,” says District managing director Patrick McCoy.

The latest building is another example of them meeting demand.

The company will look to add 350 new part-time employees for the holiday season.
