Driver Killed when Car Leaves Highway 99, Crashes into Redwood Trees

TURLOCK — The Turlock Fire Department responded to a fatal crash, which resulted from a car leaving Highway 99.

The driver was ejected from the car as it crashed into two redwood trees and came to a stop on a nearby business’s property.

The car was driving southbound on Highway 99 between West Main Street and Lander Avenue when it left the roadway, according to the fire department.

Officials have not disclosed the identity of the driver who died at the scene.
