Crews Investigating the Cause of Fire That Damaged 2 Homes in South Sacramento

SOUTH SACRAMENTO -- Around 5 a.m. Thursday crews were called out to fence fire between two homes that eventually spread to both houses.

The 2-alarm fire was located at Hermes circle and Archean Way.

The flames spread to attic of one house and the garage of the other.

All residents made it out of the homes safely.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
