SACRAMENTO -- A bronze statue stolen in broad daylight from the Clunie Community Center in May has been returned.

The "Journeys of the Imagination" statue was purchased for $9,000 a decade ago by the non-profit Friends of Sacramento.

Police say it was found in "perfect condition" in a storage unit in El Dorado County. Investigators are still looking into the theft.
