Lawmakers Work to Protect Lake Tahoe Amid Wildfire Season

INCLINE VILLAGE -- Preserving the beauty of Lake Tahoe is something lawmakers on both sides of the aisle can agree on and lawmakers want to make sure it stays that way. It’s why on Tuesday they met for their 22nd annual Lake Tahoe Summit at Sand Harbor State Park.

With 17 wildfires burning across the state, lawmakers are focused on protecting Lake Tahoe from a similar fate.
