Inspection Reveals Vermin, Animal Infestation at Sacramento Market

SOUTH SACRAMENTO — Part of a grocery store in South Sacramento has been temporarily closed down after an inspection revealed an insect and rodent infestation.

La Superior Supermercados on Franklin Boulevard was still open Wednesday but their taqueria and bakery were closed. According to the County Health Department, those areas failed an inspection on Tuesday.

The details behind the health department’s findings have not been reported at this time.
